It has come to my attention that the website for The Behrend Beacon isn’t that easiest thing to find and access. For one, the quick response, QR, code that we were previously using turns out to have been expired. That has been fixed for this issue and won’t be a problem going forward. If you did not know about this QR code, it is the top one on the front page of Beacons. While that may be the easiest way to find us, given that you have a Beacon right in front of you, you can also just search ‘The Behrend Beacon’ in Google and our website is the top result. If for some reason it isn’t the top result, our site isn’t too hard to remember, just add “sites.psu.edu/” and then type in “thebehrendbeacon” and you’ll be there. Again, that is “https://sites.psu.edu/ thebehrendbeacon/” to access our site. Once upon a time, we had used a different website that ended in “.com,” however, that is not the case anymore. Please go to the “sites.psu” link to engage with our website. Speaking of our website, we also post every
article featured in the Beacon on there! In addition, we have all our information as a club and organization on there as well, should you be seeking to contact us or find out more. Another hub for all things Beacon, would be our BehrendSync page. Our club details are on there, as well as contact and event information.

We also maintain links to our social media accounts, which we have plenty of, on both our website and the BehrendSync page. Furthermore, on BehrendSync, there is a link to our website and there will soon be forms for both requesting advertisements in the Beacon and for submitting content for us to feature in the Beacon! Keep an eye on our BehrendSync page for those forms! I hope this will clear up any misconceptions and inform everyone about our official outlets in terms of our online presence as well. Happy Reading!
