Hi! I’m Alanna, and I’m one of the Opinion Editors at the Beacon. I’m a sophomore and a Creative Writing major. This is my first year at Behrend, and I’m loving it so far. In my free time I like to read and write, but I dabble in pretty much any artistic hobby that keeps my hands busy. My favorites so far have been photography and painting. When I’m not doing any of those things you can often find me listening to music or watching Netflix. I’d describe my music taste as eclectic; if you ask me what I’m listening to at any given moment, the answer could range from cinematic-space-rock band STARSET to Ludovico Einaudi, an Italian pianist and composer. My current Netflix favorite is Marvel’s “Daredevil”, which I’m on my third rewatch of.
