On Oct. 31, Penn State Behrend held its annual Halloween Drag show, hosted by Debbie does Drag, in a collaboration between Lion Entertainment Board and Gender and Sexuality Equality Club. The show consisted of eight performances, along with several vignettes, an ending dance number, and a costume contest.

The show lasted around two hours. It featured four queens and one drag king, Debbie beginning with a sensual performance about churning butter. After going over the rules, each performer then did one number, with frequent vignettes between. Highlights included Vivian Vendetta-Sinclaire struggling against an oversized plastic drink ring while dressed as a sea turtle, and Riley Poppyseed performing a Little Shop of Horrors medley with a hand-puppeted Audrey II puppet. Attendees were then encouraged to submit themselves to the costume contest, of which there would be three winners. First place went to the Yaoi Collector, a young man dressed in memorabilia with the words “I LOVE YAOI.” while also donning a gay pride flag like a cape. He and the two runners up received pumpkins full of candy and a signed poster for the event.

Afterwards, the performers did a second round, with Clinica Deprecious performing “Over at the Frankenstein Place” from Rocky Horror Picture Show while dressed as a mothman being drawn to a lamp in center stage. Clinica then had sex with the lamp, before later giving birth to a mothman baby. The performers collaborated to do a final dance number to Micheal Jackson’s “Thriller” encouraging audience members to dance themselves. The night ended with pictures with the performers on the drag stage.
