Sex Toy Bingo was held in McGarvey Commons on Friday, Apr. 12, 2024. A total of 120 prizes were given away, two of which were larger grand prizes. The event was co-hosted by the Lion Entertainment Board and GASE and MC’d by prominent local drag queen Debbie. 

The bingo included a multitude of different game boards as well as prizes. Boards of note include four corners, diamond, and blackout for the grand prize rounds. Each player was given one bingo board, and there were no opportunities to buy more. Winning players were given a special flavored condom to denote them as having been certified a winner by staff. Winners then went up to a prize table, where after presenting their Penn State ID they were able to choose between several categories from which to receive a random prize from. The categories included pleasure for men, pleasure for women, for the men, which referred to a variety of phallic-focused products, lube and kits, and finally sex-free fun. The final category was most likely included for those who wanted to attend the bingo for the game or the MC but did not actually want to receive a sex toy.

The event was MC’d by local queen Debbie the Drag Queen. Debbie has performed previously at Penn State Behrend this year, being part of the fall Halloween drag show in October. She called numbers and provided commentary while also keeping track of the winners for each round before declaring a new board. Debbie also did several ‘interview’ sections, where she focused attention on recent winners and the prizes they had received. Debbie appeared in an iconic hot pink bodysuit with large ruffles and a mountainous blonde wig. 

Bingo wrapped with the blackout game, where the two grand prizes were out to those first to have every single number on their board called. The grand prizes included a very large adult penal item, as well as an item which used silicone to create an exact replica of the male genitalia of your choice. Donatos Pizza was then served in the lobby of the lower floor of the Reed Building.
