WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH – Kevin Franke, who filed for divorce from YouTube mom Ruby Franke in November 2023 after she was convinced of child abuse, claims that Jodi Hildebrandt was possessed. Hildebrandt was Ruby Franke’s business partner and has also been arrested for child abuse.

According to NBC News, “The two were arrested in August after police found one of Franke’s sons emaciated with open wounds and bound with duct tape. He had escaped Hildebrandt’s home to a neighbor’s house. One of Franke’s daughters was found in a similar malnourished condition in Hildebrandt’s home.”

Both of the women were sentenced four times each, with one to 15 years in prison for the four counts. NBC News states that in Utah, the maximum sentence for consecutive terms is around 30 years.

The Washington County Attorney’s Office has revealed that Ruby Franke had handwritten journals that revealed months of abuse. While Franke and Hildebrandt had been abusing the children, they made it seem like everything was just fine for the cameras. But the viewers had been concerned over Franke’s strict parenting style on her Youtube channel, “8 Passengers.”

While Kevin Franke has not been charged with any crimes at this time, he has stated that he was Hildebrandt’s exorcist when they let the life coach stay with them. He claims that he has seen her go into a possessed mode and talk in strange voices.

Franke states that the voices said, “She is ours. We’re not letting go. She is Satan’s bride.” The attorneys for the three have not commented on the statements of exorcism.

Kevin Franke revealed that he did tell the police about why his ex-wife and him decided to take life coach in. He stated that he had met Hildebrandt after he was convinced to join a men’s group within ConneXions by his ex-wife and a friend in 2020. The group had met weekly with the life coach. He has said that during March 2021, Hildebrandt told her inner circle that she had been tormented by a shadow figure every night.

Then, in April of that year, the coach reached out to Ruby Franke to help her. She then opened up to them a month later, when they began to visit her at her home. He claimed to have noticed a sound that was like crashes in the kitchen and plates that flew off by themselves into the walls. He gave in and agreed to take her in. He has also claimed that his wife at the time had also gone into these trances. Franke grew suspicious of the two and asked his wife to separate. The police have revealed that he stated that every week had been a “psychological hell.” He said, “The only way I would ever get back into my house was if I got Jodi’s approval, because if I didn’t get Jodi’s approval, I would never get Ruby’s approval.”

Ruby Franke and Jodie Hildebrandt are currently serving time in prison, while Kevin Franke remains free. He is currently going through the process of divorcing Franke.
