The Behrend Anime Club has not been as active as it once was when hundreds of professors began instructing their respective students throughout Penn State Behrend in the 2023-2024 school year. At the beginning of the Fall 2023 semester, members would go to a set destination on campus every week to watch their favorite anime shows or movies, as well as texting one another on their Discord channel when they are in their dorms or anywhere else, and now, absolutely nothing is happening, let alone a single text message announcing the next club meeting, except for an hourly message from a bot that reset its randomizer, awaiting its next user to select an anime character at random.

In the general chat of the Behrend Anime Club’s Discord channel, a handful of club members have sent messages explaining the problems the club has been facing, and they also proposed many solutions on what people can do to get the club back on its feet.
