Personally, I absolutely love getting to see the new commercials that come out during the Super Bowl each year. So, here is a list of the ones that stood to me in good and bad ways.
State Farm
This ad seems to be the favorite of the general public. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger filming a State Farm movie and he cannot say the line “Like a good neighbor,” due to his accent. He keeps saying neighbor like “neighbaaa.” At the end of the commercial, Danny DeVito makes an appearance to help Schwarzenegger with his line delivery.
Temu
The Temu commercial was purely made by AI and you cannot convince me otherwise. Also it played like six times, which was unnecessary and annoying. And they kept pronouncing the company name wrong.
CeraVe
I mean, it is Michael Cera talking about skin care. What more would you want?
Dove
I loved the message in this commercial! Dove continues its trend of making their ads all about body positivity, but these ads focused on young girls. It tackled the struggles girls go through being athletes in such a great way and in such a short amount of time!
He Gets Us
What even was this commercial? It was just a bunch of pictures of people washing feet and it was about Jesus? The “he washed feet” line at the end made me laugh. How was this approved?
Mountain Dew
We got a mini “Parks and Recreation” reunion in the new Mountain Dew Baja Blast commercial, which people always appreciate. Aubrey Plaza’ energy is absolutely hilarious and her delivery is all the more funny. Pair her up with Nick Offerman riding a dragon and you got a great Super Bowl commercial!
Uber Eats
Of course, I have to mention the mini “Friends” reunion as well. I always love seeing Jennifer Aniston and her saying she does not remember David Schwimmer when he shows up was just chef’s kiss for me.
