I absolutely love clothes and different kinds of fashion and I love talking about it! Here is just a little list of some of my favorite aesthetics in clothing and fashion!

Soft Girl

The soft girl aesthetic has all of my favorite things. Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie butterflies, hearts, all things pink… How could I not love it? It focuses on the sweet and feminine looks and it is a very playful style. I love my cute pastel colors!

Cottagecore

Cottagecore aesthetics have connections to idealistic fantasies of nature. Dresses, cardigans, and anything floral are very common for this aesthetic and I love it. If I could just live in a little cottage with a garden and wear my little dresses and write stories all day, I would.

Fairycore

This aesthetic is pretty similar to cottagecore, but with just more of a fantasy vibe, I guess. It is a good mix of natural and mystical. There are a lot of forest colors and forest themes as a part of these looks.

Y2K/Early 2000s

I absolutely love this era of fashion… well, the good parts. I will never wear a dress with jeans underneath. I am referring to you, Disney Channel red carpet events! But, the bright colors and futuristic styles draw me in. It is very inspired by the 90s, but with more of a twist.

Dark Academia

I never really wear this kind of aesthetic, but I love seeing it on other people! I feel like Taylor Swift’s new album title, “The Tortured Poets Department,” perfectly describes dark academia to me.

Vintage

I love the kinds of aesthetics that combine old and new together! The clothes do not have to come from a long time ago, they could just give off similar vibes to past fashion trends.

Goth/Grunge

Again, I do not wear this style, but I wish I could pull it off. I like more of a soft grunge moment, but full goth can look really cool.
