Where were you the first time you heard of the “Avatar: The Last Airbender” franchise? Did you watch the original Nickelodeon animated show when it aired in 2005 to 2008? Or perhaps, like it was for me, it was M. Night Shyamalan’s film adaptation of the series that was your first exposure to the franchise? Or maybe you discovered it upon Googling “Avatar”, the film about blue aliens, and happened upon articles and wiki pages about “Avatar: The Last Airbender” by chance.

However, it is that you were introduced to the mystical world of elemental superpowers, you can now say that it was here, right now, in this moment on this Beacon page that you learned about the live-action series adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” releasing on February 22 of this year.

Or, perhaps, you already knew, but for a moment, indulge me.

On the 22nd, the live-action series featuring Gordon Cormier as our beloved Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, and Ian Ousley as Sokka will premiere on Netflix.

And after it does, you can bet I will be back with a review!

Get excited, people; I sure am.
