Bob Marley: One Love (February 14)
Releasing on Valentine’s Day, this biopic covers the life and music of the iconic musician Bob Marley. The film will take place from the beginning of his career to a shooting at his home in 1976 and then to his death at just 36 years old in 1981. Kingsley Ben-Adir will be playing the iconic artist.
Dune: Part Two (March 1)
The sequel to the famous film “Dune”, this film is the second chapter of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi novel. Rolling Stone described the film as “in which Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet save the universe, and a hairless, feral-looking Austin Butler (as the evil Feyd-Rautha Haekonnen) freaks everybody out.
Kung Fu Panda 4 (March 8)
After years of success, the Dreamworks animation series is back, better than ever! The martial arts panda Po, the Dragon Warrior, is now called upon to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. But he has to stop the wicked sorceress Chameleon, who is after Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to re-summon all the master villains. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, David Cross, and Viola Davis are starring in the film.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (March 29)
The sequel to the 2021 reboot “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” brings back the star-studded cast of Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and McKenna Grace. Along with some of the original cast, such as Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts. The film’s plot is that a supernatural force is released in New York, threatening to unleash a new ice age.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (March 29)
It is the sequel to the latest showdown film, Godzilla vs. Kong. Only a little is known about the film; the two likely enemies might be teaming up to be allies in this film as they have to face an undiscovered threat hidden within the world. But also, as always, the mighty gorilla Kong and the feared reptile Godzilla are said to clash. The film is said to dive deeper into the two’s histories and origins. But dive into the mysteries of Skull Island while fighting a battle that helped create a possible allyship between the two. The film stars Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House.
Abigail (April 19)
This horror film stars Melissa Barrera and Dan Stevens, who are cast as criminals tasked with watching over a kidnapped ballerina. As she is the daughter of an influential figure, all they have to do is watch over her for one night to be able to collect a 50 million dollar ransom. But they will soon discover they are not locked inside the room with an ordinary girl.
Challengers (April 26)
Starring Zendaya, Mike Fast, and Josh O’Connor, this film is about a former tennis prodigy who is now a coach. Zendaya’s character, Tashi, is married to a champion currently on a losing streak. As she strategizes about her husband’s redemption, her life turns when he is put up against his former best friend and her former boyfriend. But Tashi has to do whatever it takes to win.
