Dear Beacon Readers, 

As of this issue, I will be resigning from my position at the Behrend Beacon.

I want to begin by saying thank you to everyone who has picked up an edition of the paper this year to read, and of course to all of the great people on the Beacon’s staff who helped make it possible to get to print each week. Every person who helped to write articles, take photographs, format the paper’s layout, distribute them around campus, and spread the word kept the Beacon running smoothly this year.

I originally started as an A&E Staff Writer in my first year and was quickly promoted to Editor by my second. Said A&E promotion was suddenly joined by an additional two sections. While I was first worried this would be a lot on my plate, the kindness and generosity of the rest of the Beacon assisted me in continuing these sections. 

During this period, I led and worked on Local Eats, Club Showcase, Reading with the Beacon, Dorm Recipes, Beacon Beats, and Self-Care. I also was able to consistently discuss my adoration of my music throughout a variety of reviews.

Once again, I thank everyone who I worked with these past four semesters. I wish everyone an excellent Summer and continued success with the Beacon.
