Disney movies are fun to watch for people of all ages. Fans of the films have created conspiracy theories about many of the different movies. Here are some of my favorite Disney conspiracy theories.
Mulan and Raya live in the same universe and timeline
This conspiracy theory makes so much sense. Both of these movies feature dragons.
In “Raya and the Last Dragon” there is Sisu, and in “Mulan” there is Mushu who is also a dragon. Some viewers have come up with a theory that Mushu, the Great Stone Dragon, and Sisu are in the same subfamily. Which in a way makes sense.
Riley from “Inside Out” is a visitor at the aquarium in “Finding Dory”
If you’re a Disney fan, then mostly you have seen both “Inside Out” and “Finding Dory.” One conspiracy theory is that Riley from “Inside Out” is a visitor at the aquarium in “Finding Dory.”
This conspiracy theory is one of those theories that just makes sense. During a scene in “Finding Dory,” there is a little girl who is part of the classroom of children watching Dory at the aquarium. The girl watching Dory looks similar to Riley from “Inside Out.”
Therefore, Disney fans have come up with this conspiracy theory, which makes sense since the girl in the scene looks so similar to Riley.
“Lilo and Stitch”: Lilo and Nani’s parents were in the CIA
Even though Lilo and Nani’s parents had died before the events of the movie, fans have theorized that their parents were in the CIA.
I think that this particular theory does not make any sense ] but it is still an interesting theory. Fans have theorized that Cobra Bubbles had worked with one of the parents and that is why he has not taken Lilo from Nani’s custody. Which, although less likely than the other theories, is an interesting thought.
Elsa and Anna are Rapunzel’s cousins
Okay, so this makes total sense right? If anyone has seen “Frozen” during the “first time in forever” song, the backs of two figures, who are assumed to be Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, are shown. It just makes sense that Elsa and Anna are her cousins.
Clearly, “Tangled” takes place in Germany so the reason that Rapunzel would be arriving in Arendelle, which is in Norway, for Elsa’s coronation would make more sense if they were cousins. Also, Fans pointed out that there are so many similarities between Elsa and Rapunzel, such as having powers. The King tried to hide Elsa’s powers, and if they were cousins he might have done it out of fear, so it would then make sense if they were cousins.
The King and Queen of Arendelle died on the way to Rapunzel’s wedding, or survived the wreck and had Tarzan.
There are even more “Frozen” based Disney theories. Apparently the Director of “Frozen” had stated that the King and Queen were headed to a wedding when they died in a shipwreck.
Since Rapunzel was at Elsa’s coronation, it would make sense if the King and Queen had been going to Rapunzel’s wedding. Therefore, the King and Queen dying on the way to the wedding would make sense.
However, another theory that fans of Disney came up with is that the King and Queen had survived the shipwreck and had Tarzan. This theory is one of my favorites because it makes zero sense, as the Director has stated the theory as a joke. Fans took this theory to an extreme and believed it, even though it does not make sense given the story of Tarzan. It is an interesting theory, but I personally think it makes no sense.
