FOX’s “Prison Break” is one of the best 2000s television. “Prison Break” ran on FOX originally from 2005 to 2009 before the revival for season five in 2017.

The show focuses on a pair of brothers as they try to escape prison after one of the brother’s is falsely accused of killing the brother of the fictional Vice President and is sentenced to the death penalty. The cast of this series includes Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Paul Adelstein, Wade Williams, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, and Amaury Nolasco.

The concept of the show is one that I have never seen before. The whole show is full of action, and unexpected twists. The first season is based around the character Michael Scofield, who is an intelligent structural engineer. Scofield executes an elaborate plan to break out his brother, Lincoln Burrows, who he assumes is innocent.

Honestly I also agreed with Michael that Lincoln was innocent, because throughout the first season, it looked as if someone was after Lincoln for some reason. After Michael gets himself thrown in prison, he pretends to have type one diabetes and meets Dr, Sara Tancredi.

I really enjoyed watching each season be about a different part of the journey to their freedom. The first season is the escape, the second season is while they are on the run, the third season is when the leave the U.S and takes place inside of a prison outside of Panama., season four focuses on their journey to take down the villains known as the company, and season five takes place a few years later and is about taking down an even more notorious villain.

I thought how each season was about a different part of their journey was so interesting. The love story between Michael and Sara is one of the best television love stories that I have seen with the exception of the love stories in FOX’s “9-1-1: Lone Star.” The battles that they have to go through to be together are very inspirational. The actors of the series are incredible at bringing their characters to life.

One of the best 2000s television series that I have ever seen would be Prison Break. I would recommend this show to anyone who is looking for something that they have not seen before.
