(Spoilers)

Disney has released a mini-series for fans to bring in the holiday season. “The Santa Clauses”’s first episode was released on November 16 on Disney Plus. The mini-series is supposed to have six episodes that release every Wednesday. This series serves as a continuation series to “The Santa Clause” movies and takes place 28 years after the first film. Tim Allen has returned to his role as Santa Claus also known as Scott.

The show starts as Scott is delivering toys to children on Christmas and he realizes that few children believe in Santa. He visits Sara who was the first person that he gave a present to after becoming Santa. Sadly, Sara is now a young adult and does not believe in Santa anymore. But he makes her believe again by giving her the same present from her childhood.

While Scott is out on his journey, Mrs. Claus is checking in on her children, Buddy and Sandra. Sandra tells her that since she grew up at the North Pole that she does not have any friends. Which makes the audience feel bad for Sandra because she never got to grow up with other people her age.

Then, the show switches to a man named Simon, who is the head of the company EverythingNow and is a single father to his daughter, Grace. The next year, while making his yearly rounds Santa falls off a roof similar to the first “The Santa Clause” movie. After returning from his rounds, Betty tells him that there is a way that he can retire if he chooses a worthy successor to become Santa. He considers one of his sons for the role but neither of them wants to become Santa.

Who will Scott choose as his successor? People will have to watch to find out what happens in Disney Plus’s “The Santa Clauses.” Overall, the first four episodes are good and humorous. This would be an excellent watch with the whole family during the holiday season. Episodes one through four are now available on Disney Plus and new episodes are being released every Wednesday.
