“Star Wars” fans have seen it all, from Anakin and Padme to Adult Luke and Leia, even young Luke and Leia.

Since Disney purchased the “Star Wars” franchise in 2012, it seems they have focused on both backstory information from the original films and new content. Starting with “Rogue One,” which plays a backstory-enhancing range between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope” including character development such as “Obi-Wan” taking place between these two films as well.

Then there was the animated series “The Clone Wars,” which started in 2008 before Disney owned any rights to “Star Wars.” When the series ended after season five on Cartoon Network in 2013, Netflix picked the series back up for season six before Disney+ ended the series with season seven in 2020.

The most recent show “Tales of the Jedi” takes place at various moments before “Episode I” and even after “The Clone Wars.” A true “Star Wars” fan will know where to place these six episodes which are each between 13 and 19 minutes long. However, as someone who has seen most of the “Star Wars” franchise, in order and out of order, you could essentially watch this show after finishing “Rebels.” This would catch you up on Jedi Master  Dooku’s and Padawan Qui Gon Jinn’s backstory, as well as Ashoka for two of the six episodes.

All in all, I would give this show a six out of 10 seeing as “Tales of the Jedi” could have focused simply on Dooku and Qui Gon Jinn completely without the two episodes about Ashoka, however, those two episodes still give some information about her that we never knew.
