November 1 is the day people typically call the start of the holiday season. Singer Mariah Carey is starting to celebrate the holiday season as well. Mariah Carey, who has released some all-time musical Christmas classics like “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” is celebrating the start of the holiday season.

Mariah Carey officially celebrated the beginning of the holiday season. Carey posted a humorous video on her social media accounts of her transforming from a spooky witch to a Santa Claus. According to Harper’s BAZAAR, “She aptly posted the video at 12:01 a.m. on November 1 – exactly one minute after Halloween ended”. The singer’s video begins as she is dressed up as a spooky witch on a stationary bike with a background of a dark forest of jack-o-lanterns. Then she turns into a Santa Clause at the end of the video.

“It’s time” Carey sings in the video on her Twitter account. Carey made it officially by posting “#MariahSZN” for Mariah Season. According to People Magazine, “The holiday season is always special for Carey. In 2019, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ reached No.1 during its 25th anniversary. Last year, the holiday hit earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs retrospective.” Also in the People Magazine article, “Carey opened up about why Christmas is such an important time for her in a 2020 interview for Elle, where she described it as ‘maybe the one time I got to breathe for a second.’”

Christmas is an important holiday for Mariah Carey. The singer made an announcement last year that is similar to this year’s post. As Mariah Carey says “It’s time” for the holiday season.
