When asked what my favorite genre is I think of Pop music. Pop music is my favorite genre because it consists of happy dance songs and sad songs. Pop music are the songs that I hear on the radio in the car all the time. 

The reason that pop music is my favorite genre is because it is the songs that I hear all the time. The pop genre includes songs that are easy to remember and have a catchy beat.  The pop genre consists of songs that people can connect to through their own experience, especially the saddler songs. 

Pop music has many different emotions throughout the different songs. Popular artists like Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, and Harry Styles are songs that I always hear people talking and listening to. The pop music genre brings people together in a way. My favorite music is pop music because it is the type of music that I have been exposed to the most throughout my life. As a kid, pop music was the type of music that was always playing whether it was in the car or at an event from school. 

Even though I have listened too and like other types of music now that I am older, Pop music is still my favorite music genre. Personally, I have heard more artists in the pop music genre than in any other genre. Whenever I am listening to music on shuffle, songs by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and Ariana Grande are always playing. In my opinion, I feel like pop music is a genre where everyone at least knows one song from the genre whether it is a song by Harry Styles or a song by Michael Jackson. 

I personally feel that Lady Gaga is one of the best artists from the pop music charts that is still currently releasing music. Even though I listen to a little bit of every genre of music, pop music is the type of music that I listen to the most currently. Pop music is definitely songs that I listen to more than one time. I have heard more songs more than once from the pop genre than I have from other genres. My favorite genre of music is pop music.
