Society is on the precipice

The world can’t keep going on like this

A depressed and apathetic populace

Too complacent to make a change.

Burgeios and wanting

The task is ever-daunting

When the power of the people falls away.

Try as some might

With calls to fight

Their words are ignored for fear of change

For why would one listen

To words of aggression

When we can distract ourselves with memes all day?

The brink of war

Climate irregular

Yet the people won’t stop the decay.
