Good evening, good morning, and goodnight my fellow cheez-its and cheezettes, and welcome back to another installment of Drew Dishes. The classic staple for every American’s pizza: mozzarella. Mozzarella is possibly one of the most available as it comes in many forms, be it a ball, block, or if you’re willing to spend too much money, the little cheese wheels. The main question still stands though…is it the perfect cheese?

Cheese: you know it, you love it, and you probably had too much of it last night at 3am. Today, we will discuss a fan favorite of many people…Mozzarella. Mozzarella is possibly one of the most inoffensive and pleasant cheeses that most people have experienced in their life. The closest way to describe the incredibly mild flavor is salty, milky, and mildly lactic or sour.

It’s main uses are on basically anything that uses cheese because of it’s stretchy meltibility. Most Americans would recognize it as the cheese on a classic pizza. It is incredibly numerous in its uses in recipes, but this cheese is more of an add-on rather than a main feature in most dishes. It has a rather mild flavor that can mild out the flavors of the dishes that it is in. Because of Mozzarella cheese’s inoffensive taste, this cheese is the perfect snack for any cheese enjoyer.

The Secret Cheese Council gave this cheese an overall score of 8/10 due to the near perfect score that many people claimed they had on this cheese. But….as the Cheese Master in The Secret Cheese Council, and at the end of the day, my wonderful opinions triumph over the rest of theirs. Because of this I, the Cheese Master, gave it a strong rating of 9/10. This cheese to me meets all three categories that I have previously stated. It is very easy to acquire, the flavor is very good, but the only downside being that it isn’t incredibly unique. This cheese is the closest thing to perfection we’ve gotten to so far. However, the next review will be my most scathing yet… American “cheese.” My adventures are far from over, so until next time…this is your Cheese Overlord signing off.
