A way to see

A place to be

Great to have in you and me

Through time it wanes

Through suffering and pain

Feeling though nothing may ever be the same

Perhaps I am just idealistic

The world seems to wish I were pessimistic

As it drags me down further every day

If someone here has any faith

In the direction that my life may take

It might as well be me.

To some it might be depressing

Realizing your life isn’t interesting

To anyone in the world but you.

Though myself I feel

Quite a deal

Of relief knowing my life’s just for me.

Try though they might

To seem alright

I know my priorities are my own.

A small light

I hold deep inside

Through the gray world is my hope.
