Tom Brady is starting a season off 2-0, shocker. In year 22 through two weeks Brady is 5th in the league in passing yards and 1st in touchdowns. However, Tampa Bay is going to miss star wide receiver Antonio Brown and are likely to miss edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul due to a shoulder injury. They still have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski who had a solid week last week where he posted four catches for 39 yards and reached the end zone twice. Tampa Bay has been struggling moving the ball on the ground ranking 31st in the NFL in rushing. The real key to this game will be if the Tampa Bay defense wants to get back to their 2020 form. This year they are giving up 27 points per game.

Then you have the Rams. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is enjoying his time away from Detroit. People are now seeing all the talent that was being wasted there. Stafford is completing 69.6% of his passes, has thrown for 599 yards and has a 5 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio The rest of the offense includes Stafford’s favorite target Cooper Kupp who is one of the great young WRs in the league today. They also have Robert Woods to go with Kupp who so far has had a quiet year but is bound to have a breakout week. Running back Darrell Henderson Jr. is continuing to be a consistent workhorse for the Rams. If you’re a Rams fan some of your fears may be alleviated just by knowing you have arguably the greatest defensive player in the history of the NFL on your team in Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald had 13.5 sacks last year and he’s an interior lineman. Donald typically requires so much attention from the offensive line it takes two to three guys to block him. He’s a game-changer and as long as you have him your team has a fighting chance. This Rams defense is only allowing a mere 19 points per game and the offense is really helping them out by averaging 30.5. To help Donald overtop the Rams have All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey, young stud CBs Darious Williams and David Long Jr. This secondary is very opportunistic and looks to cause trouble for Brady.

Donald and the rest of that Rams defense is going to make Brady’s life miserable and Tampa Bay’s defense is going to continue to struggle against this high powered offense.

Final Score Prediction: Ram 31 Buccaneers 24

Green Bay Packers Vs. San Francisco 49ers

After a horrendous start to the season and getting blown out by the Saints, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers came back with a vengeance against the Lions. Rodgers looked in peak condition completing 22 of his 27 passes and throwing for 4 touchdowns and no picks. That’s just one third of this three headed monster. Aaron Jones gave his fantasy owners their breath back after a scary week one. He had four touchdowns as well as 115 total yards totaling 41.5 points. Then to top it off they have arguably the best receiver in all of football in Davante Adams. Consistent greatness is what fans think of when they hear his name. Adams and Rodgers have a special connection that few duos in the league possess. Offensively the Packers have a lot of playmakers but they have a few on the defensive side of the ball too. Jaire Alexander is one of the premier cornerbacks in the league and he’s not alone in the secondary. Adrian Amos is a true leader back there and he is leading the team in tackles. One thing that the defense is missing is a consistent pass rush having only totaled one sack on the year. The main reason for that is star edge rusher Za’Darius Smith has been placed on injured reserve due to a back injury. In the past two seasons with the Packers he has accumulated 26 sacks. Picking up the missing production will be free agent signing De’vondre Campbell. The biggest question will be if the Packers offensive line can protect Rodgers

The 49ers as usual are dealing with a lot of injuries. They are on their 4th string running back and it’s only week three. 16 players in total are listed on their injury report for the week. Dealing with these issues they still have managed to go 2-0 even though they have nearly blown double digit leads each week. In the fourth quarter their defense has given up 24 points. Niners fans are wondering when they will be moving on from Jimmy Garoppolo and giving the reins to first round pick Trey Lance. Garoppolo is a decent quarterback but he’s nothing more than a game manager. Lance however has the potential to be a superstar. Defensive end Nick Bosa is a superstar already and has been making quarterbacks’ lives extremely difficult when he’s been healthy. He won Defensive Rookie of the Year back in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. The leader of that defense though is All Pro middle linebacker Fred Warner. He makes an immediate impact on the field due to his leadership. The secondary is young and unproven and Rodgers will look to pick them apart on Sunday.

The Niners are three point favorites but I am going to take the Packers in a blowout this week. Every game the Niners have played has been close but have been playing worse teams. They are going to get a reality check this week under the bright lights of Sunday night.

Final Score Prediction: Packers 42 49ers 17

Philadelphia Eagles Vs. Dallas Cowboys

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have had an up and down start to the season. They handled the rebuilding Falcons in week one but struggled moving the ball against the 49ers last week only scoring 11 points. During Hurts’ small sample size as the Eagles quarterback he has 13 touchdowns and 6 turnovers. The Eagles finally decided to get him some help by drafting receivers Devonta Smith and Jalen Reagor in consecutive years. On top of these young stud receivers they have Miles Sanders, a former Penn State running back. They are dealing with major injury issues though. Star players Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, Zach Ertz, Brandon Brooks, Brandon Graham and Rodney Mcleod are all either questionable or out for this Monday night primetime game.

Dak Prescott hasn’t missed a beat coming back from his horrific ankle injury he had at the beginning of last season. He’s completing 76.5% of his passes so far and took the Buccaneers down to the wire week one. The Cowboys are a very dangerous team offensively. Two stud running backs and three pro bowl caliber receivers. Amari Cooper and Cee Dee Lamb have had a great start to the season racking up 31 catches and three touchdowns. Their defense is young but they are causing a lot of turnovers. Relatively they have stayed healthy only losing two key players but their depth is keeping the defense afloat. Rookie Micah Parson is doing Penn State proud and can’t wait to go up against former teammate Miles Sanders.

This game is going to be a hard fought divisional battle and fans can expect to see some big plays. The injuries are going to be too much to handle for the Eagles and the Cowboys will take advantage of it. What fans are looking forward to most though is who Peyton and Eli Manning are bringing on their Manning Cast version of the game.

Final Score Prediction: Cowboys 28 Eagles 24
