Port Farms has offered a fun, family inclusive environment for many in Erie, PA and surrounding areas.  Port Farms was opened back in 2003 by Jerry and Kelly Ports. The Port family inherited the farm from Jerry’s ancestors. The initial intent of the farm was to become an outside learning environment, for nearby families; in order to help them learn and understand where food comes from, as well as how agriculture works.  While still offering a fun atmosphere for the whole family. 

Port Farms offers activities year round but their fall activities begin on September 19th, till November 1st, with some limitations such as being closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. The Farm is located right outside of  Erie, Pa in 2055 Stone Quarry Road,Waterford , PA 16441.  The entrance fees for the farm are affordable for the whole family. A ticket for General Admissions costs $12, for ages 3-59. Kids under the age of three get in for free and adults over the age of 59 get in for $5. The farm also offers season passes for those who see themselves going to Port Farms more than once during the season. The season pass for individuals is $32 and the senior season pass is $20. Alongside these affordable prices, the farm also offers free admissions to military members. 

Port Farms offers a wide selection of activities for people of all ages, the corn maze is one of the most used attractions of the farm.The corn mazes are one of the biggest attractions of the farm, there are exactly two mazes, one for adults and one designated for children that covers less ground to ensure the safety of everyone. Another big attraction that Port Farms offers is the hayride. The hayride offers a tour around the farm and shows families the acres surrounding the farm. The bumpy ride will give every member of the family a fun experience.  All of the attractions that are open have guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID. While some attractions are closed due to the ongoing pandemic such as  the corn pit, the farm has maintained most of the attractions featured in past years. 

Season after season Port Farms has provided a family environment for everyone from all parts of Pennsylvania to enjoy.
