Hello! My name is Madison Kwiecinski, and I have the pleasure of being your News Editor this year for the Beacon. I am a sophomore political science major and this is my second year editing for the Beacon.

This is my second year at Behrend, and I could not imagine going anywhere else. In addition to my classes and writing for the Beacon, I am also President of the Behrend Political Society, an honors student, and a part of the college democrats and PPGA. When I am not busy with school, I love to be outdoors and to explore the gorge on campus.

I am so excited for this year, and to get to know everyone better from the Beacon staff to the writers to the people I meet around campus!
